Live on the Licking 2019

Do we have a great Live on the Licking lineup for you!?! We begin our 2019 live concert series with local talent Blue Sky Gray and their mix of bluesy soul and rock & roll on May 3rd. Ohio’s Richard Lynch Band will bring their authentic country sound to Old Mill Park on June 7th. A cowboy hat is optional, but don’t forget your dancing shoes! Music City Stones, a Rolling Stones Tribute band, will help us celebrate Independence day with all your favorite Stones hits on July 3rd with fireworks to follow. August 2nd, Chelsea Nolan and Short & Company will be returning to the Old Mill Park stage. Chelsea’s fiery, heart-felt vocals and lighthearted banter are not to be missed and Jeremy Short’s bluesy guitar and original songs are not to be missed. These two Kentucky natives will make you proud to be from the bluegrass state. Sept. 6th’s show is guaranteed to be a doozy! Live on the Licking favorite, The Wooks, will take the stage for their fourth performance at Old Mill Park. And if that isn’t enough to get you excited, Cincinnati based singer/songwriter, Arlo McKinley, will be gifting us with his heartfelt, emotional songs. We’ll close out the season on Oct. 4th with two acts. John R. Miller and the Engine Lights, a singer/songwriter who grew up in West Virginia, will present his authentic, folksy, country sound. His work has been described as “tremendous, the way a river is tremendous next to a trickle, the way sunrise is tremendous next to just about anything else“. Lexington, Kentucky’s own Magnolia Boulevard will also take the stage, offering their unique bluesy sound.
You might normally have to drive a bit to see acts like these, but West Liberty Tourism, through our free Live on the Licking concert series, is dedicated to bringing the talent to you and making good music and live performances accessible to all.
