The Heart of Fun in Eastern Kentucky
Centrally located on the waters of the Licking River, Old Mill Park features a natural amphitheater with a covered stage, two covered picnic shelters, walking tracks, a playground, and abundant picnic and cookout spaces.
It is currently home to our annual Bluegrass Festival, Market in the Park, and the annual July 4th Fireworks Show and Easter Egg Hunt, both presented by the local Kiwanis Club.
Old Mill Park is also home to our monthly summer concert series, Live on the Licking!

One of the premier events at Old Mill Park, this up and coming art festival features creations from the finest that Morgan County has to offer.
The Market in the Park takes place the first Saturday in August. With local food, local art, and local hospitality, it is definitely worth a visit.

An annual event for almost 20 years, the West Liberty Bluegrass festival is one of the finest collections of bluegrass musicians you’ll find.
Presented in the park’s natural amphitheater, there’s plenty of seating and even a little room to practice your dance moves.
Whether you’d like to fish or just sit and contemplate the meaning of life, the quiet flowing waters of the Licking River will wash away your stress. You might even find a nice, quiet spot in our beautiful rock garden near the fountain to just sit unwind.
Our walking track winds along the bank of the Licking, offering a peaceful and calming view as you exercise. If you’d like to turn it up a notch, however, the playground features a stationary exercise station where you can raise your heart rate a bit.
